Family Day

The History Behind Colon street Colon Street has a lot more significance in the history of the country than most people seem to realise. The street is actually believed to be the oldest in the country. Its origins have been traced back to the town plan created by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. The street was created as a part of the first  Spanish settlement in Cebu , the Villa de San Miguel or St. Michael’s Town. The street was named after Cristóbal Colón – The Spanish translation for Christopher Columbus – the Italian explorer known for his discovery of the “New World”, Christopher Columbus had been sailing for the Spanish monarchy despite his Italian heritage. The evolution of Colon Street Colon Street looks a lot different to what it had been back during its humble beginnings. Despite it’s run down look plaguing the street these days, it once was the heart of Cebu City’s shopping and business activity. James and the Giant Peach Last January 22, 2019 Asian College of Technology had a stage play for the Preschool and Grade School at the SM seaside to support our younger brothers and sisters. We were all there to watch them perform. We all took pictures. We also have fun watching them perform. The dancers were one of my ft The performers did their act very satisfying. And they were all cute and beautiful. After the performance we roam around to find a place to eat, when we found the place, we ordered food. After eating we we went to sky park to have fun with my niece so that she can have a last bond with us, because they will go back home the next day. That day was very fun and enjoyable day. They were doing their best so that their performance will be impressive and interesting to watch and also not boring. Clean Up Drive Last January 25,2018, we had a clean up drive. We are assigned places inside the campus. We were assigned at the canteen together with our class adviser. While the other level were assigned at the other places at the campus. We are cleaning all the dirts in the canteen. We had a lot of fun while cleaning up, we wiped the table, and we sweep the floor. While we were cleaning up we took pictures with our class adviser. Since abby was absent because they went to Bohol, so that’s why she’s not included in the picture After cleaning the canteen, we head back to our classroom. We also had a general cleaning in our classroom, we actually had fun that day. It is actually fun cleaning with our classmates/ friends in our classroom, we took a little break, then we continue cleaning. After cleaning up we went to the lobby to take a rest for awhile, while taking a rest    took pictures with ourselves. Also that day was also my best friend’s Birthday “Jan Melisse Misa”. A

Family Day 2019 "Family United in Love"  Last February 28,2019 is when Asian College of  Technology had a Family Day. The day when the students and their parents celebrates Family Day. Family is a special day as the parents gets to spend time and bond with their children. Family Day is one of my favorite events that happens in the school every year. You get to have fun and play together with your classmates, but what I love the most about Family Day is to really be with my Family. In our level we had a catering, the food was splendidly delicious. Every level needs to perform a dance routine and what our level performed was "Baam", "Girl in the Mirror", and "Trumpets," Not only us performed but also our parents, teacher, and student teachers. I was kind of sad as one of my bestfriend named Anne can't attend because her cousin had a wedding in the exact time and day, but even though she did not attend we had a video call. Fam
